Between visits

- Store each piece separately, in a soft pouch, so stones cannot scratch metal.
- Remove rings before swimming, cleaning or lifting; chlorine and knocks are the usual culprits.
- Clean at home with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush; rinse and pat dry.
- Silver tarnishes in air — a sealed pouch slows it, and a silver cloth restores the shine.
